Draw your design. Thicker lines rise higher, so press a little longer where you want more height.

Wait — this is the one people skip
Let the ink dry for 5–10 minutes before adding any heat. Nearly every "it didn't puff" story starts here. Set a timer if you have to.

Warm it
A normal household hairdryer on medium heat, about 15 cm away, for 20–30 seconds. Keep it moving. No heat gun, no oven, no iron.

Touch it
The lines rise into raised, textured relief. Let it cool for a minute before handling.

It works — but only if the ink dries first. Five to ten minutes, then heat. Nearly every "it didn't puff" story comes from heating wet ink. If yours doesn't rise after a proper dry and 30 seconds of heat, tell us and we'll refund you. You keep the set.
An ordinary hairdryer on medium, 15 cm away, 20–30 seconds. Nothing else needed.
Not at those settings. A hairdryer on medium doesn't get near paper's ignition point. Don't substitute a heat gun.
Drawing from 3. The heating step from 8, with an adult there — or just do that part yourself. Most families find the child draws and the grown-up runs the hairdryer, and that turns out to be the fun part.
